Kitchen cabinets, designed, sold and installed
We do one thing and we set the whole company up around it: replacing kitchen cabinets with Shaker-style cabinets from US Cabinet Depot. Not refacing, not custom-built boxes, not insurance work. That focus is why the price is low and the wait is short.
Why we sell one cabinet line
We chose US Cabinet Depot because, of everything we have handled, they give the best quality for the lowest price in a Shaker cabinet. Selling one line means we know every box, every filler and every accessory in the catalog, and we can tell you exactly what a layout will cost before anything is ordered.
The cabinets are framed, with a cabinet grade plywood box and a hardwood face frame. Doors and drawers close softly as standard. The maker, Brothers Global Inc, backs the cabinets, hinges and drawer glides with a limited lifetime warranty, and we take care of the registration and the paperwork for you.
- Sold to homeowners and to contractors
- With installation on the Cape, or cabinets only, anywhere
- Kitchens first; vanities, laundry rooms and storage in the same lines

How the cabinets are built
The box is the part you never see, and it decides how long the kitchen lasts. This is what is in every framed cabinet on the sheet.
- 1/2" cabinet grade plywood box, UV-coated outside to match the doors
- 3/4" by 1 3/4" hardwood face frame
- 5/8" dovetailed drawer box
- Undermount, full-extension, soft-close drawer glides
- Five-piece doors and drawer fronts
- Six-way adjustable European hinges, soft-close
- 3/4" cabinet grade plywood shelf with a banded front edge
- 1/2" cabinet grade plywood back, full height
- UV-coated natural cabinet grade plywood interior
Painted doors are all HDF, so there are no joints in the paint to open up with the seasons. Stained doors have a 3/4" solid birch frame. Every material is CARB2 compliant.
The manufacturer's spec sheet (PDF)Ready to assemble, and why that helps you
Ready to assemble describes how a cabinet ships, not how well it is made. The same box either travels built, taking up a truck and collecting dents, or travels flat and gets put together where it is going.
Shipping flat cuts the freight we pay and all but ends shipping damage. In our experience, cabinets that travel assembled have a high chance of arriving damaged. Ours arrive in good shape, and they are assembled by US Cabinet Depot or by our own crew before we install them.
They come from a warehouse in Norton, Massachusetts, about 45 minutes away, that keeps 14 colors in stock, so a full kitchen's worth of cabinets usually arrives in 3 to 5 days. The rest of the colors and the unfinished cabinets are stocked in Atlanta and come up on a transfer truck every week.
Compare that with the 16 to 20 weeks people now wait for cabinets built to order, and you can see why a kitchen can be done in weeks.

What we build into every kitchen
Whatever cabinets you buy, the same three spots waste space. We fix them as a matter of course, and they are in the price, not added to it. The fourth is for people who like a surprise.

Wire baskets, not a lazy Susan
The lazy Susan that comes from the factory has a short shoulder, so things fall off the back and disappear, and you are stuck with the shelf heights the factory chose. Every corner base cabinet we install gets a wire basket carousel instead, with shelves you can raise or lower around what you store.

A pull-out for the blind corner
The half of a blind cabinet that disappears behind the wall used to be dead space. We worked out a way to modify stock cabinets so they take pull-out hardware, and the whole blind space comes out into the room. No more reaching into a black hole for a lid.

A drawer base close to the stove
A wide drawer base close to the range, sized for pots and pans. It comes from our own kitchen design background, and it is one of the details that make a kitchen work the way people cook, not just look good in photos.

A drawer hidden inside a drawer
Open the big drawer and a second one slides out above it, for cutlery or knives. Not many kitchens have one. Ask for it.
Homeowner tip: when you compare quotes, ask whether corner and blind cabinet storage is included or billed as an add-on. A lot of companies charge extra for exactly what we put in as standard.

The same cabinets in other rooms
The lines we sell also make bathroom vanities, laundry rooms, home offices and plain storage. We sell these cabinets to anyone; installing them is something we do for our kitchen customers.
Bathroom vanities
Sage green cabinets floor to ceiling around a washer and dryer, farmhouse sink and white counters.
Dark gray shaker laundry cabinets over a front-load washer and dryer, farmhouse sink and marbled counter.
Cream shaker built-in desk, bookshelves and window seat with brown counters and lit glass-front uppers.
White built-in desk wall with drawers, open shelves and mesh-front upper doors, gold-tone hardware.

Cabinet questions
Straight answers, the way we give them on a walkthrough.
Are ready-to-assemble cabinets lower quality than custom cabinets?
No. Ready to assemble describes how the cabinets are shipped and put together, not the materials. These have a cabinet grade plywood box, a hardwood face frame, dovetailed drawer boxes and soft-close hinges and glides, and the maker backs them with a limited lifetime warranty.
Who assembles the cabinets?
Either US Cabinet Depot assembles them before they ship, or our own crew assembles them here. Either way, we install them.
How fast can I get new cabinets?
The cabinets usually arrive in 3 to 5 days: 14 colors are stocked at a warehouse in Norton, Massachusetts, and the rest of the colors and the unfinished cabinets come weekly by transfer truck from Atlanta. Most basic kitchen cabinet installations are done within two weeks. The full kitchen also depends on the countertops, which typically arrive about a week after the countertop shop templates.
Can I buy cabinets without installation?
Yes. We sell cabinets to homeowners and to contractors, anywhere. Installation is something we do on Cape Cod and in the nearby towns we serve.
What do you do about corner cabinets?
Instead of the lazy Susan that comes with a stock corner cabinet, we install an adjustable wire basket system with a taller edge, so nothing slides off the back. Blind corners get a pull-out made for them, so that space is reachable too.
Is corner and blind cabinet storage extra?
No. Every corner base cabinet we install gets a wire basket carousel with adjustable shelves, blind corners get pull-out hardware, and a wide drawer base goes close to the range, all in the price. When you compare quotes, ask whether these are included or billed as an add-on, because a lot of companies charge extra for them.
Is there any particleboard in the cabinets?
The framed cabinet box is 1/2 inch cabinet grade plywood, with a 3/4 inch shelf and a full-height back in the same cabinet grade plywood. Stained doors and face frames are 3/4 inch solid birch; painted doors are HDF, which keeps paint from cracking at the joints. All materials are CARB2 compliant.
Do you take out the old cabinets?
Yes. Removing the old cabinets is part of the installation, so you do not have to work out what to do with them.
