Kitchen remodeling on Cape Cod, built around the cabinets
Most of our remodels start with new cabinets. We design the kitchen, sell and install the cabinets, and our crew takes care of the work around them: the floor, the tile, the trim, the drywall and the paint. Cape Granite Connection makes the countertops, and licensed plumbers and electricians quote you and bill you directly.
What a kitchen remodel with us covers
One crew from the day the old cabinets come out to the day the new ones are done, and the other trades lined up around them.
The cabinets
Shaker and Oxford doors from US Cabinet Depot in sixteen colors, on cabinet grade plywood boxes with dovetailed, soft-close drawers and a limited lifetime warranty.
Out with the old
We take out the old cabinets, then assemble and install the new ones. Most basic cabinet installations are done within two weeks.
Floors, tile and trim
Hardwood, LVP, vinyl and tile floors, tile backsplashes, moldings, shelving and custom woodwork.
Drywall and paint
Drywall repair, wall removal and interior restoration, including the painting.
The countertops
Cape Granite Connection in South Yarmouth templates, cuts and installs the stone once the base cabinets are in. You pay them directly.
Plumbing and electrical
Licensed contractors we trust. They quote you their own price and bill you directly, with nothing added by us.
The flooring, tile, trim, drywall and paint come with a kitchen or bathroom project from us. We do not offer them on their own.
A remodel price you can read
Most remodel prices are one number with somebody's markup folded in. Ours is a list: you pay us for the cabinets, the installers for their labor, and every other trade bills you directly.

We have no financial arrangement with the other trades, so nothing is added on top of their price. Feel free to make deals with them. And we do not run up any extra expense without your approval first.
The order of the work
- Cabinets ordered. They are paid for and ordered, and they usually arrive in 3 to 10 days, timed for the afternoon the demolition is finished.
- Base cabinets first. They go in first so the countertop shop can template. The electrician usually works while we install.
- Tops in about a week. We finish the rest of the cabinets while the countertops are made.
- Then the finish. The plumber connects the sink, the faucet, the dishwasher and the ice maker, and the painters go after that.
